Nolan Kehler is an award-winning tenor, broadcaster and writer based on Treaty One Territory in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He regularly performs as an operatic and concert soloist as well as a chorister with several ensembles. Nolan can also be heard introducing audiences to musical selections on Classic 107 in Winnipeg, where he loves having conversations with artists and creatives in Manitoba and beyond.

Nolan is delighted to be joining forces with a staple of Winnipeg’s performing arts community in Carl Orff’s masterpiece, which features new choreography from the ballet’s Choreographer in Residence, Cameron Fraser-Monroe, and the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra conducted by Julian Pellicano.

Tenor Soloist - Bach Institute Showcase Concert (Emmanuel Music)

Nolan started 2023 by making his American debut with Emmanuel Music in Boston as part of their Bach Institute fellowship program. Nearly two weeks of workshops and rehearsals included performances of Bach cantatas under the batons of Ryan Turner and John Harbison and a showcase concert entitled “Bach’s Personas”. Nolan performed alongside fellow vocalists Mara Riley, Ingrid Johnson and Steven M. Warnock, flautist Alisa Smith, oboist Daniel Gurevich, violinist Nate Kim, cellists Andrés Celis and Tyla Axelrod, and keyboardist Wesley Leffingwell.
